Le premier homme à se lancer après " Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) " est le freestyler hors norme Method Man . Sortis en 1994 sur Def Jam Records , cet album confirme le status de Rza en tant que producteur de génie et les talents de Mr. Meth .

La note shaolin et soul est toujours présente dans les sons et Method Man lâche sans merci ses rimes accérées . Il marquera les esprit notamment avec le classique " Bring The Pain " et value à Method Man la possibilité de faire un grand nombre de collaborations (cf. Redman).

Après un " Tical " annonçant la fin du monde , c'est un 1998 que Method Man décide de donner une suite à son premier album solo . Les dernières 24 heures de la planète bleue sont alors raconter par un MC en grande forme sur les instrus des Wu-Elements .

La combinaison Method Man / Redman ne pouvait que fonctionner après le titre " How High " devenu culte . L'univers du Wu-Tang rencontre celui du Def Squad pour notre plus grand plaisir .

Niveau production on retrouve Rza , Erick Sermon , Redman & Rockwilder . Le single " Da Rockwilder " est devenu culte depuis cet album .
